A great ball contraption using monorail tracks for guiding the wheels of the Merry Go Round.
Details are shown below:
Feeding the balls one by one onto the wheel is achieved by a lever which is moved by cams on the revolving wheel. This wheel opens and closes a hole in the feed chute but also drives the agitating mechanism in the infeed hopper.
The infeed box disconnected and shown from below. Note the spring loaded grey lever, which opens and closes the infeed hole, but also drives the agitator by means of the two gear wheels.
When a car passes the outfeed box the gate is opened by wheel running over the red flank.
Two motor cycle wheels are used for the even spacing of the spokes of the Merry Go Round. Two motors drive the turntable.
